I got DDos’ed/Hacked

I was playing modern warfare when i was invited to a party thinking nothing of it i joined and then my entire internet in my home went down. I was able to find the perpatrator’s GamerTag and instagram account, I have reported him but would like to see
and know if xbox takes action on his account, is there any way I can find out what he has been punished if anything? Additionally, with a but if digging i found out he sells illegal hacking equipment, how abould i go about reporting this.

Due to privacy you will never be told the result of a report you've filed.

On very rare occasions you may get a thank you message from the enforcement team if someone is suspended due to a report you filed but it will not tell you who was suspended or go into details.

Sadly there isn't much Xbox can do because DDoSing has to do with the IP address of the device that was attacked, they do not happen directly in the Xbox Live service. For more

Another thing, if he joined your party he's very likely to have been invited or a friend of one of the party members (though not absolutely necessarily) so you'd be best off making sure no-one keeps him on their Friend's List.

Also, don't leave Parties open, and don't accept, Party, Chat or Game invites from players you think will do it. Any real-time communication gives them your IP address and leaves you open to all sorts of joy.

Ok Sonic, I'm assuming that you have reported the 2 gamertags now...if not, then do that. If a moderator is out there, please remove the gamertag from the first paragraph, and honestly please lock or delete this one. Nothing to see here really, nothing to
