I got DDoS'd and I know the gamertags, how can I report them?

I was recently DDoS'd by the gamertags of, [mod removed] They invited me to a party and told me they were going to DDoS me. Then my internet went out. They also knew what state my internet was from. How can I go about reporting them?

depending on your ISP you can reboot your router.

sometimes you have to keep it unplugged for 15min+

You have to report them as you would any other player on Xbox Live, manually through their profile. This sounds like it could classify as a harassment or whatever category is closest to that you believe a DDoS attack would fit into.

There are also some Microsoft made resources available about what to do when this happens on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, both are very useful to know.

You would need to report them through their profiles in order for the enforcement team to investigate them. They do not use the forums.

Also, you can contact your internet provider regarding this matter and hopefully they can give you a new IP address since DDoS attacks your internet.

Yeah, contacting you ISP also fixes things.

Some ISP's take legal actions against people who do that to there customers.
