I got banned because I send an "inappropriate" message ..

From now on just ignore childish moves and you wont be banned.

there to create an environment that is friendly for everyone and is set in place to encourage good sportsmanship and positive communication.
If you run into a toxic player then Report, Block and Ignore the user, and do not engage them.
Enforcement does not see anyone as Defending themselves, they look towards the Code only. (Side
note: Enforcement does not Post, Read, or Comment on Forums nor can support offer assistance.)

I recommend that you head over to the
Enforcement website to see if your account is eligible for a Case Review as previously stated by our Ambassadors since your ban is over 24 hours.

It doesn't matter how the situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished.

the only thing you can do is go to enforcement.xbox.com and file the case review, there's no other option.

This happened to me also a couple days ago, I messaged somebody something that is inappropriate and all I should get is a 4 day ban from communication right? Nope. 2 days after I got banned for communication, I got a 15 day suspension. I don't know why Xbox did this. I completely understand why I got banned for communication, but a 15 day suspension? Also, my appeal was denied. Me sending a message that is inappropriate is not a consequence to a 15 day suspension. XBOX PLEASE GET BACK TO ME
