I got a redeem code from a friend for a 14 day gamepass code

The trials are for new members with no history of Gamepass. You may not be eligible if you've used one before.

Well i only got access to one system and its not even mine lol its my uncles, i just use it occasionally. And i wanna play Devil May Cry 5 from game pass... but if it takes 24 hours to fully activate wouldnt that mean that i only have 13 days to play it
and not 14? isnt that misleading?

Go ahead and perform a hard reset and power cycle
of your console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox. Perhaps your console needs to
refreshed after applying you free trial.

Next, I would suggest setting up a call back from an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your account and see what might be causing that issue.

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
