I got a new laptop now I can't launch a Game coppied from my old pc

I coppied Lies of P from my old pc and the launcher verifies only 11.4 gigs then says the game is ready to launch when I launch the game it says : some game files are missing or corrupted .

and I'm sure that the game files are not corrupted cause it runs on my old pc just fine

I coppied it million times tried all the delete the gaming service things from power shell to regedit
and I can't redownload the game cause in Egypt internet isn't unlimited and is expensive so I can't just throw 35.4 gigs out of my 250 gig quota

so please someone help me I wanna play the game

You would.have to reinstall the game from the account that made the purchase

You never been able to copy and paste games like consoles on Windows since Windows 95

Windows operate on a registry system and the xbox folder are encrypted

You can copy between same drives from the same pc but you cant plug and play on different devices like you can on consoles

You will just have to download the game

On the second play session on the laptop, I made sure I left the laptop for 20 minutes to allow sync to complete before attempting to launch again on the PC, but this did not help.

I have now tried this 3 times and the latest save data from the laptop is still not syncing to the cloud - the PC remains on the old version.

Just to clarify, do you currently have two separate accounts signed into your PC and your laptop? If so, are you encountering any specific error messages when you try to invite the other account either from your PC or Laptop? Can you test navigating to your
friend's profile page within the Xbox App and then join their game from there?

My friends can invite my PC. I have not tried to invite friends from laptop yet. There is no option to join from laptop to existing team using xbox platform. The same error (

I made new account on PC and instaled game again. I made new account in xbox - the same error betwen PC and laptop.

I log on laptop from PC account (xbox) and my friend could invite me! So the is not a problem on laptop I think. To all xbox accounts is the same credit card. I will try to change it

I installed games on this disk on my old laptop, but I formatted it with the new PC.

I don't own an Xbox or any other platform.

You realize that PC games have an "Options - Graphics" area to optimize for your setup? I can run new games on a three year old gaming laptop, it just doesn't look as good as my desktop or new laptop.
