I bought my game with a gift card will the money I used be sent back to the gift card or back to my bank account, and also I haven’t got my money back since returning the game.

I wasn’t able to find such deal.
But you can contact Microsoft support about the gift card (or check the gift card terms with them)

you need to add a card. It will take no money off of the card if it's the 2 360 games with gold. I just use a old visa gift card.
