I get "There was a problem with the update" message

Under "There was a problem with the update" on the page, there are steps to test in your console for resolution.

Should you have tried the troubleshooting and issue still persist, you may perform offline system update: Perform an offline system update | Xbox Support.

Got it working. Was about to send it in and decided to try the offline update tool first. It worked!!!

Messages 'sending...' never ends i don't get notifications the stream never updates and i can't view so message streams entirely it never loads and ive been having this problem since the message system update when they added everything

As I said in my original message, I already tried the online update and it still says "There was a problem with the update" when I get to the update part of the system startup.
