I get the Error Code "Contact us at Microsoft Support" when trying to add money to spending...

If you’ve followed all the steps in the official support guide https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/add-money-to-your-family-member-s-microsoft-account-d2a4d821-4d8b-fe19-49f1-c21d51f18aa7 and you’re still experiencing the issue, you would need to contact support as the error message says.

Start at https://support.xbox.com/contact-us/ - The category/topic options should be ‘I need help with family settings’ under ‘Family & online safety’, then select live chat or request a call back. If you get connected through to the virtual agent, just type ‘talk to agent’.

I was having the Error Code 80169D94 when trying to purchase microsoft point or redeem a card with them on. Spent an hour on the support chat and finally was able to add my points. Now the Error Code 80153410, which doesnt allow me download anything via
my xbox or website...so i have £50 worth of microsoft points that i cant spend...what is the point.

That error occurs when you try to add a PayPal account that doesn't have a credit card or verified bank account attached to it. It's worth double checking your account is fully verified and if that doesn't resolve the issue then try adding a credit card
if you can.

Was there an 8 digit error code when you tried to purchase on the console?

Where does the bank say the money went to?

If the money was taken out for Microsoft or Xbox then you'll need to contact phone support as only they can deal with billing issues.
