    GO TO SETTINGS, AND THEN IP SETTINGS, GO TO YOUR ALTERNATE MAC ADRESS ANS THEN CLICK CLEAR. YOUR XBOX WILL RESTART AMD THEN TRY GOING TO THE BETA NOW!!! IT WORKS !!!!!! THANK GOD

    I found a solution. Since i am located in africa, i have to use a VPN connection so i get a US ip address. after that, i was able to download and update games

    Here's what I've found when looking up the error code 0x800701e7:

    To resolve this problem, use the Xbox One System Update Solution:

    1. Go to the
      Xbox One System Update Solution      .
    2. Select I am getting an error message or an error code.
    3. Select I am getting an error code.
    4. Scroll down the screen and select 800701e7.
    5. Follow the instructions in Step 4 to successfully update your console.

    Has someone found a solution to this, did a soft factory reset and when I went to do the update, this exact thing happened

    The only solution I have found for this issue is to perform a factory reset. It will delete all game titles and the accounts from the console but it will get rid of the corrupt files that remain from an interrupted update as well. I know it seems extreme
    yet it's a more favorable solution than a non functional console.

    I'm now attempting to re-install it to check if there was an error with the installation process.
