I found a radical solution to the problem of 1440 and 120 frames, we need to work together

If my device is in developer mode, it runs at 1440 and 120 frames, and if I turn off developer mode, it goes back to 60 frames or 1080. What is the reason for the restrictions, since my device and screen accept this format??

In my experience most of the things that people run in Dave mode are not computationally challenging

Google this problem - lots of people are having this issue. Microsoft advertises that you can run 120fps @1440 resolution on xbox one S if you have a monitor that supports that resolution. I also have a monitor that supports 144fps @ 1440 and it is a combination
that is unselectable. We need a REAL solution.

most tv's dont support 1440 and 120, so a monitor is a good choice, the monitor needs to support 1440 res and will only do 120hz over hdmi.

hdmi 2.1 is backward compatable so you should be ok.

looking at that monitor it will probably only do 1440 at 60 on hdmi and 1440 at 144 over display port.

max you most likely will get over hdmi is 1440 60 or 1080 at 120.

Hello, i have a xbox one x with the Samsung C27HG70QQ and if i put it in 1440 it changes the hz to 60. it only stays at 120 when its in 1080

what is faster game play hdr10 @60, 1440 @60 or 1080 @120?

also has anyone tried a display port to hdmi cable?
