I forgot my Gmail account

To access your Xbox account and other Microsoft services, you need to know the email address and password you used to set up your Microsoft account. Xbox Support can’t provide this information, even if you know your gamertag.

I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

As of now i'm using a hotmail account to log in. I went to create a new windows ID using my gmail account, however it stated this is already a windows ID account sign in here. I click sign in and then go through the "I forgot my password" detail and it states
that this gmail account does not exist as a windows ID.

actually i am using a gmail account for that other account but i can't remember if i had to make up a new password or stay but i must have had to have another password for the account that i forgot
