    Can someone please tell me what all is needed for information when calling xbox to try and get a code to reset my password and email.

    I don't remember the if I used a secondary email when setting up my account so if I did happen to forget it I was safe with a password reset going to someone else email. Here is the issue I don't know what kind of questions will be asked when calling. Example I can't give the email address since I'm not sure if there was a second one setup or not. Plus I don't know what all can be done if anything. I do know I have purchased game downloads in the past from xbox but they always went into my main account. And that is the account I can't get into. So any advice would be great thank you.

    P.S. I have tried to use some other emails I could think of and nothing worked. So I don't know if the code goes to email or phone number. And I recently got a new phone in April with a new number.

    If anyone has any advice on how to get my account back please let me know thank you.

    Hi there Dawn welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I recovered multiple accounts in the past (that I have forgotten the passwords to) like this:

    You need to create another account. Once you make the account, you should use the new account to login and select “forgot password.”

    Choosing the “forgot password” option will send you a link to fill out some questions and information so Microsoft can verify that is your account, then you need to wait for Microsoft to contact you for more assistance and the recover your account!

    Hi Christopher I'm not the same guy that you were responding for but I have a problem with logging in to my Xbox account I used the recovery form to try to get back my account but failed I tried many more times out of desperation but didn't succeed I don't have even info for my old account to be recovered but I hope you can help me out

    where do I find my account that my mojang automatically migrated to?

    so the problem kinda is that I did not forgot my email. mojang made a new email for my minecraft account.

    my minecraft account is linked to a email I don't know the existence off :(

    I am unable to access my old Microsoft account. However when I do a search of Xbox Gamertag's my account is still live. Is there a way to link my old gamertag to a new account?
    Whats the reason you cant access the old Microsoft account? Don't remember the password or what email you used?

    You can try at the link below, but it seems like if you don't at least know what the old email is, I don't think it will be possible.
