    I feel cheated by "refund" system


    First off I know I made a mistake and should have done my due diligence. But I did not. I purchased sea of thieves for full price from Msoft Store. (I had spent 0 hours in game at this point) I later realized that I had access to it from my XBL Game Pass.
    So I submitted my refund request and played the game through my game pass not thinking much of it. I later find out my request was denied due to me spending x amount of hours in game. I cannot contact a chat operator as refunds are not a category they support.
    I also cannot request to speak with a phone agent as again, they do not support refunds. I feel like this is a super simple issue and maybe getting the chance to plead my case with a human might help my chances. Anyways, I am not to sure how to proceed. Does
    anybody have any ideas? Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you all have a good day.

    Hey thanks for the response. I have attempted but chat and phone support both do not support refunds. Im considering attempting to get a call back using a bogus “reason”.

    I don't believe that you will get a refund, but one good thing is that if you ever stop your Game Pass subscription you will still be able to play the game since you own it. If the game ever left the Game Pass catalog or if you stopped your subscription
    you wouldn't be able to play it anymore anyway unless you purchased it. You just got ahead if either of those scenarios ever occured. The game in the Mircosoft store should have mentioned that it was available to play through your Game Pass subscription if
    you did have the subscription at the time that you purchased the title. Sorry that you experienced this but you will enjoy the game.

    The only thing that you can do is to reply to the email that you received denying the requested refund.
