I encountered an error when migrating from a Minecraft Mojang account to a Microsoft account.

The thing is, I have successfully migrated my account, but because I used a Microsoft account that was previously logged in to Xbox with a different nametag for migration, now the system automatically logs in to my Xbox account but not my migrated account. my emigrated account. Now I can't change my name or change my Minecraft skin.
I used a Microsoft account with Xbox name tag: "Player163340049" to migrate. Then came the naming step, I set it as: "Sufuri8474". Now when I log into Minecraft with this Microsoft account it says "Player163340049" and it says I haven't bought Minecraft yet.

Hi SulfurPoison, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

When you restart the launcher for the first time after migration, you may be taken to the Mojang login screen, or a screen still asking you to migrate. Please use the 'Go Back' button OR the 'X' (depending on which of the below screens you see) to get back to the login selection screen. You will then select 'Microsoft Login' to enter your new credentials.

Please be informed that there is a Minecraft/Mojang account migration to a Microsoft account. Have you already migrated your Minecraft account to a Microsoft account? If so, your Minecraft account and Microsoft account are linked as one already.

What just happened when you proceed with it? Are you getting any error message or error code?

When Minecraft stopped working, I used my Microsoft account. And this issue happened after I changed my main alias from E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. I can play Minecraft if I log in with my E-Mail 2.

I purchased Minecraft on my Mojang account before the migration, but I don't use my mojang account and that Microsoft account that was migrated to.

With my Mojang account (E-Mail 1) migrated to Microsoft account (E-Mail 4) I bad the Java Edition. With my first Microsoft account (E-Mail 1, now 3) I had Minecraft Bedrock Edition. And with the other MIcrosoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) I have both Java and Bedrock.

I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft Account (E-Mail 1, now 3) from the Microsoft Store and I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) from the Microsoft Store but the Java Edition I purchased from minecraft.net. On my Mojang account (E-Mail 1, now migrated to Microsoft Account with E-Mail 3) I bought Minecraft Java from minecraft.net.

When you purchased the Minecraft Java originally, did you purchase it with a Mojang account or a Microsoft account? If you purchased it with a Mojang account, have you tried migrating the account to a Microsoft account yet? You can learn more about migrating your Mojang account to a Microsoft account here:

You can also try installing the Minecraft launcher through the Xbox app and installing Java from there.
