    I enabled multiplayer and clubs but I still can't use realms.


    I have a child account and, with my parent's permission, changed my settings to allow me to play on realms. These are my settings for Minecraft windows 10 online safety:

    You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

    Decide whether to play with people on gaming services outside of Xbox Live, such as PC and PlayStation. This does not enable communication.

    *Allow

    You can create and join clubs

    Create, join, and follow clubs

    *Allow

    Broadcast gameplay

    Choose whether to enable live broadcasting of your game.

    *Allow

    You can upload captures to Xbox Live

    Decide to upload game clips & screenshots to Xbox Live.

    *Allow

    You can share content made using Kinect or another camera

    Share outside of Xbox Live any content you create with Kinect or another camera.

    *Allow



    Others can share your content to social networks

    Decide who can share your Xbox content to experiences outside of Xbox Live.

    *Allow



    You can join multiplayer games

    Play games with others in the Xbox Live online community. This does not enable communication.

    You can add friends

    You can add friends on Xbox Live.

    *Allow

    I submitted all my settings, restarted Minecraft, and signed out and back into my account. I'm not sure what else to do.

    Allow daughter to access Minecraft Realms

    Minecraft Realms uses "Clubs" for invitations / membership so you need to enable that for her to access them. Also you need to allow multiplayer games.

    Please, let us review if all these options are enabled:

    Using the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device, enable Multiplayer for Minecraft.

    In the Xbox Family Settings app:

    Go to Settings > In Enable Minecraft > Select Allow this game.

    Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others

    Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers.

    Hi again,

    There is a Minecraft article that tackles the topic about managing parental consent, settings, and realms/multiplayer access. Navigate to the parental controls section and make sure you completed the steps under "Account set up to enable...access realms" which is about halfway down the page. The page also includes screenshots of the settings.

    Hi Drew, I'm afraid I've already followed these steps and enabled all of the privacy options to allow me to connect to multiplayer clubs etc. However I still don't understand why my Minecraft account thinks I have a child account, which must be why I can't join realms too. But it's all connected to my Microsoft account which displays my correct date of birth?

    Is there any way I can get in touch with a software developer/engineer who can take a look at my account/permissions?

    The problem isn't that i can't enable the multiplayer in family thing, it's that after i enabled multiplayer it still wouldn't allow me to play multiplayer.
