    I downloaded MicFlightSim using the xbox game pass and it is trying to do a fresh install...


    Is there any way to direct the file path back to the original download so I can skip another big download? I just finished downloading 127gb and it says it needs a 123gb update. The new download is being directed onto my smaller C drive and when I try to
    follow the path that I suspect the location of where it's installed on the D drive to, it says I do not have permission to read & write access.

    Any thoughts?

    I tried googling the problem but only solution I found said to change the settings to default to the D drive....but it's already the default location for new apps.

    did you upgrade or did you do a fresh install, if a fresh install then as the windows games are placed in an encrypted folder this breaks as it is tied to the one install of windows, you would need to re download the games if that is the case.

    if upgraded then they should still work ok and are located under the xbox app in the library.

    I can play every XBL game perfectly, except for Overwatch!

    *Do a Hard reset? (Hold the white power button on the front of your xbox, even when the light goes out...keep holding it till you hear slight whine and when you hear nothing then let go.)

    Have you tried a fresh re-install? If you do a fresh re-install of Overwatch, I wouldn't play the game until it has finished downloading. Also maybe try saving it on a different hard drive this time?

    I had tried everything too, everything!, without success, I finally did a fresh installation of Windows 10 and the problem was solved, now I can download any game of the Xbox Game Pass without any problem. It is not the most elegant solution, but since
    I did not see a solution from Microsoft, I decided to do it and now everything works correctly.
