I downloaded and bought a game but it says Do You Own This Game Or App?

It’s my brothers Xbox and he set it up to where it sends a request to him like a child’s account so he refunded it but when I try to buy it again this pops up.

I would like to confirm, are you able to see the game listed in your Microsoft account order history with the status “completed”, or it doesn’t appear yet?

Please ask your brother to disable temporarily “ask to purchase” for your account, H.

If the game appears there, please try the following possible solution on your console:

Step 1. Remove your profile from the console. Make sure to know your credentials before doing this step.

Step 2. Perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable:

“Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.



Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.”
