    my sons use gmod without issue. and i am not going off topic if i am actually suggesting the fix for your issue, if you want to live in the past then use old controllers that work with your out dated system.

    you would be better going over to the windows forum itself then, they may be more prepared to assist if the windows 8 forum still has anyone in it.
