i don't trust the xbox apps in my computer.

The xbox Apps on the PC are a core Service. That's why you couldn't uninstall them the usual way. You could deactivate the gamebar it in the settings. Even if you uninstall it and manage it to delete it in the regedit it will be back with the next big
Update again.

Please take into account that the Xbox app itself is used for both Microsoft Casual Games (like Solitaire, Free Cell, etc.) as well as the games available on Xbox Game Pass or downloaded from the Microsoft store that deal with online game play. The
app itself is standard in the Windows OS and is able to access both the Xbox Live servers, as well as the servers for multiple gaming developer servers for online multiplayer play.

I am a little green with this tech. stuff . but if I use something that accesses other ip addresses and uses microphone and cameras , then all these devices have to be secured or then can become backdoors for the unscrupulous
[Mod Removed - Inappropriate] out there. they are very smart but have no souls , unconscious animals types who have given there life to there own ego stroking . I may be paranoid but I know my own limits and don't want to spend all my time
with a machine .

Unfortunately pc and xbox are almost one now . So it will be on every Microsoft computer . You can close it but not delete it .

You can disable that from within the settings as others have mentioned, but i am really interested in knowing that why dont you trust Xbox app and game bar?
