I don't own an Xbox nor an Xbox account and yet Microsoft thinks I do

Look, to make a short story even shorter just yesterday I bought Minecraft for the Nintendo switch and realized that you need a Microsoft account in order to earn achievements and access the online part of the game

I didn't really give a [Mod Removed - See Guidelines] about it I went through making my account and hence why the name stinks of a gamertag and then when I sign into the Microsoft account after Minecraft not working for a good little while
it signs me on it to an account that does not share the name or profile picture of my actual account that I created just 10 minutes or even less than that before then if anyone is wondering if the account is called LeftmostApple16 and I have only owned an
Xbox console once in my life and it is when I was four this is using a completely different password and email address than that old account which I have forgotten to time so just, what the
[Mod Removed - See Guidelines] is going on here and why is it displaying my account and something that it isn't and why is it giving me this basic [Mod Removed - See Guidelines] gamertag and profile picture WHEN I ALREADY CREATED

Hi Genesukt64,

Have you signed in on a pc with the info you used to create the microsoft account for use with minecraft?

When you created the account to use with minecraft it is an automatic action with the gamertag it doesn't mean microsoft thinks you have an xbox.

Two things I can think of.

1) Make sure you are signing in with the email and password that you used to make the Microsoft account for playing Minecraft.

2) Possibly a forced gamertag change.

Although to me, it sounds more like the first than the second.

My suggestion would be to contact support and use the live chat option. You will be connected to an agent. I prefer this option since you talk to a person
