I didn't upgrade to premium but yet I found it on my computer. Get rid of it I don't want it

Nah mate, I didn't notice that but sometimes I'm willing to pay for the premium to get rid of those ads

Same thing happened to me. Not sure how to resolve this.

Any ideas?

It's the world we live in that ads are everywhere.

But if this is a free game you are playing, then the ads are making money for the person making the game, without some way to make money, what reason if there for the developer to put in the hard work and let you play

It's the Microsoft solitaire games that come with Windows 10. I don't log into the XBOX console. I totally understand that there need to be ads to sell something more. If it was a simple as as it always has been before: that I click on it, say no thank
you and it goes away and doesn't come up so often, that would be fine. But these are very noisy, intrusive ads for various games I have no interest in. It comes up every couple or three games played, sometimes four, and literally takes over the machine.
The only way I can get rid of it is totally shutting down the application. If I let it proceed, it goes on very loud for at least a minute and sometimes longer before the "X" shows up in the top right hand corner and I can click it and get back to the game
being played.

This only started recently and I have used these games for years over many computers and versions of Windows..

Someone in a previous reply posted something to try. I'll do that and maybe it will work. If not, I'll see if I can find some software I can buy and give me the experience I prefer.

Per the request, I will post if it works.

There isn't really a way to resolve it but many people on here have complained recently about an increase in ads.
