I didn't receive my overlords gems

Discus and support I didn't receive my overlords gems in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; pretty much what the title says.     I didn't receive my overlords gems


    pretty much what the title says. I never received the 500 gems for being overlords before the update

    Wasn't Notified of Overlord VIP Rewards

    I was hoping to somehow receive the 500 gems for the Overlord VIP perk. I was never notified of the reward while it was there to claim I was only made aware of it once I received an email for recent gem earnings. I never received
    an email for the Overlord reward though so I never had the chance to claim it.

    Possibly missing gems/questions

    Since gems just started on October 1, you would not have been awarded for anything prior to that which is why you'd only have 1 set of birthday gems.

    You can earn gems for keeping a gold subscription. There used to be offers to receive credits for renewing so that could always come back.

    After reaching overlords status, you can still earn gems for every 1,000 gamerscore you receive.

    We see that this perk is still awaiting you to claim it. You must claim perks from your MyRewards page, as stated in the FAQ:

    What are MyVIP Perks?



    MyVIP Perks are a new way we’re rewarding our members for special milestones or occasions. These include but are not limited to your birthday or anniversary with Xbox Live Rewards, reaching a new MyAchievements tier, increasing your Gamerscore, or completing
    a new MyChallenge. Please note this is just the initial round of perks we’ll have available for our members, as we’ll be adding even more in the future.


    Sometimes a MyVIP Perk will be a special offer just for you, and sometimes it will be a special Reward, like MyVIP Gems. But the most important thing about MyVIP Perks is you must claim them on the MyRewards page within 60 days or they will expire. We’ll
    send an email to let you know you have a perk waiting for you, plus put a special alert on the MyRewards page, so make sure to either check your email or the site often!

    I ask about b day because mine is in july, yet I got rewarded for it. How many gems per 1000 gamerscore?

    Hello VexxWARE,

    Since Gems were only created in October, activity done before that could not have been awarded Gems before they existed. After user feedback, Overlords prior to October were awarded for completion of that tier. You have 6 Gems from surveys, 10 from the Prospector
    MyChallenge, 100 from the Golden Child MyChallenge, 5 from YOLO Rewards, 500 from Overlord, and the remaining 250 Gems are from your spending.

    but i had overlord before that date and then on oct 19th it said here is 500 gems so i don't understand
