    I didnt get 2 star rewards rank when i shouldve


    i received an email from Microsoft saying if i spent 75 dollars before the end of February i would get a 2 star rank and receive 4 percent back on my purchases for the rest of the year. so i spent 80 just to be safe and waited several days for it to update
    and nothing happened. my star rank is still one instead of 2 and i called Xbox support and they didn't know what to do from there and sent me here. i have been a member of Xbox live for a while now and i would really appreciate it if i could get what i paid
    for. thank you

    Pre-orders and game consumables are not eligible for MyVIP, and therefore not eligible for this offer. This is mentioned in both our MyVIP FAQ:



    What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar

    December 31, 2018. Click here to learn more.

    Since we have not yet transitioned to Microsoft Rewards, there is no reflection of your MyVIP Star Rank in Microsoft Rewards.

    MY VIP Progress reset?

    The progress is what resets. You spend money this year, whatever rank you get to is your star rank for the following year. So you were 1 star last year (since you didn't make it to 2 star) and you will keep 1 star this year until you spend enough to earn
    2 stars. However much money you spend this year will increase your star rank and you'll have that rank the following year.

    That is how they've done it the last 2 years.
