I did a license transfer, and it failed.

So, I did a license transfer on this account, my 360 told me it had failed.

So, I tried doing it again, and it told me I wouldn't be able to do another one until 4/7/15. Seeing this, I thought that maybe my licenses did transfer. So I downloaded a small arcade game, switched to a different account, and tried playing it.

It was the trial version. So, while still having the game running, I switched back to this account, and the game became the full version. So no, the licenses didn't actually transfer.

Did you do a license transfer and it it failed?

There is a waiting period before you will be able to transfer the license again.

There is no way to reset it, not even phone support can change it.

You can't lose your account for doing a license transfer.

A license transfer doesn't do anything bad. Like I said above, it just transfer your content licenses to the console you did the license transfer on. If he did the license transfer on the same console you use anyway, then it won't do anything.

what is the point of a support twitter/forum when all they do is suggest that you call support.

that's pointless. if i wanted to call, i would have called.

i'd rather wait the few months and do another license transfer than call microsoft support.
