I deleted my hotmail account after it had been hacked. How do I get it back?

How did you delete your hotmail email address?

If you deleted it within the account itself, please note that once you removed a Microsoft email address it cannot be recreated anymore. But if you're using the same account, your games and data are still there. You just got a new primary email address of the account.

As mentioned above if you deleted your email you will not be able to access the games, however in your case the ideal thing would be to contact Xbox support so they can verify your account that you are unable to log in.

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

Click Contact us

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

The email is less relevant than what it was linked to. My xbox account and profile were set up with the old email and while I thought I followed directions to establish the new credentials on the existing acvount I can't access the content I downloaded and my existing game profile withall my saved games and progress I can't access. I keep getting an error at login to go to account.live.com to fix and try logging in again. Not sure what I need to do.
