    One problem my xbox has been having is when I turn it on, it isn’t really turning on or connecting to the TV. The button on the Xbox is on and not flashing but nothing will happen on my screen and the controller will stay blinking. It’s weird because I noticed the little S/PDIF port in the back isn’t red but when I get it to finally be on and red then the console will finally connect to the TV. Don’t know if those are even related but I noticed the weird connection there.

    Another problem is the constant freezing in my games. I’ll be playing for a while and then my game just freezes and it’s hard to get unfrozen. I’ve found that blowing in the back vent of the Xbox usually seems to work? I don’t know, it’s weird but it works.

    A third problem is my games will go to my queue to update but when I try to resume, the download will automatically stop and say “installation stopped”. I feel like this is also connected with this other issue I have where the Xbox will tell me to wait for a game to finish installing or wait until it says “ready to start”. This is weird because I’ve made sure my games are up to date, the console is up to date and they are installed. This has happened for games on discs and ones that are digital.

    This Xbox is probably about 6 years old now though so maybe it’s just age but I don’t know, I would really appreciate some advice. I don’t know if this helps but it doesn’t really make any odd sounds aside from this weird beep it will make occasionally. Hard to really describe but I don’t if anything is causing that or if it’s normal. Again, thanks for any help!

    Unfortunately, an HDMI to USB cord will not work because the console's USB ports do not transmit video or audio. These cables are primarily used to transmit video from a compatible USB device, such as a laptop, to a TV or monitor.

    If the HDMI port of your console is damaged, there will be no choice but to place a service order for your console, but I am afraid that if it no longer has its current warranty, it will have to be at a trusted technical center in your area since it seems Xbox no longer repairs Xbox One consoles that are out of warranty period since those models no longer appear in the "Out-of-warranty service cost" drop-down menu on the following website:
