I could not purchase the box Live Promotion for 39.99 as it was advertised

My Gold is about to expire tonight and in a tempting offer on my Xbox dashboard today it said that if I renewed through the in-dash app, my 12 month subscription would be 39.99 instead of 59.99. However, when I push the "Renew Gold now" button it takes me
to the Deals with Gold page where the price is the original 59.99. Am I doing something wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I contacted xbox support today to discuss this matter they me the runaround now my subscription has expired can anything be done due to the promo not allowing me to purchase this deal for xbox live gold for 39.99 I ended up purchasing it for 59.99 @ the
dashboard. Your help would be greatly appreciated thanking you in advance

I had the same issue only I got customer service on chat live while clicking through and seeing the 59.99 instead of the 39.99...they ASSURED me over and over (I've saved the chat and can post) that if I go ahead and click through that they will refund the
20 dollars if I got charged the full price (which of course I did get charged). I was annoyed still however as I feel like the 'right' thing to do is refund the customer immediately THEN figure out their end...what I was told over and over was that they know
about this issue...are super super sorry etc and that they can't give me a timeline on the refund but 'no worries it will come to you' kind of thing. Can we all please follow-up on this here on the forum? I'm curious to see if anyone actually gets the promised
refund as I have my doubts.

Did you purchase a pre-paid card during this time frame? To be eligible for this promotion you would have needed to purchase Xbox Live from within the advertisement.
