Hello XBOX team,

My name is Emad Gashgari.

I live in Saudi Arabia. I've an xbox fan from 2006. I own a physical disc of Oblivion on the xbox360 when I first bought the console. and now I am using the xbox one to enjoy the game once more. I want to buy the digital version of the game for safe-keeping.
I tried to buy it from the store. It said this item is not in the store. When I switched the region settings to US. the game re-appeared on the store.

now I want to get it.

please help me.

no disc copy

ok so i've been waiting for Oblivion to become backwards compatible for a very long time and it has finally become compatible just this morning. I came home today ready to install the game digitally as i had traded my disc copy in to get the funds for my
xbox one i cannot find a digital copy and i really want to play this game. I have all the achievements on my account to prove i have owned a copy of the game in the past. Is there any way I can play Oblivion without needing to buy a whole new disc?

Sorry to hear it. If the game does not appear in your region's store then that means it is not available for purchase in Saudi Arabia. I'm afraid that there is no workaround for this issue as some content is not available in some regions due to governmental
restrictions

IMO, you can get a copy of Oblivion on disc for peanuts nowadays and it's available to purchase digitally. If you've been with Game Pass for 5 months, then you should have already been aware that not all games remain on the service. Just pick up a digital
copy. No more problem.

I personally like having a hard copy of my games, but recently I've been buying games through the Xbox store and by doing this you only get a digital copy. I think thats where we are heading, buying games digitally rather than getting a hard copy

Unfortunately there is no way to convert your physical copy to a digital copy, the only why is to go and buy the digital edition of that game.

I would def. buy digital BUT games like Ghost offer a free map if you preorder the physical copy. That right there stops me from buying digital for that game.
