I cleared Mac settings and then turned off the Xbox during a restart. Now I get no signal to the to when the Xbox is on. Is there anything I can do?

Hello, ChimeraGR. I’m Arturo, and I’ll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Based on the information you provided, I would like to ask if you tried to perform a physical power cycle on your console.

    Physical power cycle:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps.
Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important: If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

If you already did this procedure, may I know what other potential fixes have you tried so far?

    Thanks for your time,

    Arturo.

All right, let's try two procedures on Xbox.

    Clean Cache:

The first is a cache cleanup:

    1. Go to xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on your console for 10 seconds until it turns off

    2. Wait 10 seconds for it to turn off

    3. Wait 1 minute with it off

    4. Turn it back on

    MAC Address

Settings » Network Settings » Advanced Settings » Alternate MAC Address » Click Clear

Will ask to restart the console.

forza horizon 4 cannot connect online

Ok so I'm not sure if this was a fluke or not, usually when I'm having network issues I tend to clear the alternate MAC on the Xbox which often gets things working. I did that and can now join the online side of the game, or it could just be they sorted
    the server out.

To clear the alternate MAC assuming you're on Xbox One and not PC it's

    Settings

    Network

    Network settings

    Advanced settings

    Alternate MAC address

    Select Clear and then Restart

Xbox Series X failing to connect online and restarting console not working

    Hello,

And thank you for you detailed response. I will try it. However as mentioned on my post. The restart console option does not work. When I click clear Mac address it says I have to restart it. When I do that the logo comes up. And then all I get is a black
screen. So I end up turn it off completely and turn it on again. Not sure if that would clear the mac address?

    Auto sign in problem

Could you try performing a hard reset on your Xbox One. To do this press and hold the power button on your console's front for 10-15 seconds (even once it's turned off keep it pressed) Turn your console back on via the power button on the console and see
    if that has helped.

If not could you try clearing your Xbox One's persistent storage and also the alternate mac address. To do this first go to settings, disc & blu ray, click on persistent storage and then clear. For the alt mac address go to settings, network, advanced settings,
scroll down to alternate mac address and then clear. Clearing the alt mac address will restart your console.
