By the way, since the issue started after switching wifi connection, did you mean you have changed the connection from wired to wireless or have changed your router/modem?

The hard drive seems to be in good condition. No burns or corrosion. Think something else might be the problem?

This issue has been happening since last week. Weeks ago I did switch wifi connections, but I doubt that is the issue since this is affecting the entire xbox console and not just online. I am using a Xbox One. And I am not getting any error messages since the console freezes before it can anything else.

If the problem is with your hard drive then we can suggest try using external hard drive and use it to boot up the games. If you can connect your Xbox console through wired connection, you can try it as well.
