I changed my Xbox Gamertag on the online website, now I can’t login to my Xbox 360.

Hi, recently I changed my gamertag in the online website where you can change your gamertag. Once I changed it, my Xbox 360 does not see the change to the Xbox Live account and won’t even let me login to the account. First I didn’t think much because I thought it might need some time to update, it’s been 2 days and still does not work. Also it doesn’t show the new gamertag, still uses the old one and it won’t even login to let me play offline! I did the gamertag change with another account and that one went smoothly with no problems and showed my new gamertag. It had no problems but for some reason, this account won’t let me. When I login to my other account which is friends with Xbox account that is currently having the problem, it displays the new username. If I try to login the account (on the Xbox 360) it just says “Disconnected from Xbox Live” and “Sorry, this profile can’t connect to Xbox Live on this console.” It just signs me out and doesn’t even let me use the profile offline. With my other xbox account which I have changed the gamertag on the website before, worked fine with no problems so I don’t know why this one is having problems! Please help!!

I think you need to redownload your profile. When you load up a 360 game, press the Xbox button when you get to the point where you can't log in and choose redownload profile, then instead of your regular password, you will need to create a randomly generated "app password" which is easy to do on Xbox.com.

I changed my gamertag last night and now I can't recover my gamertag on my xbox 360 console. Everything else is fine including logging into my xbox one, gears pop, xbox.com and live.com. I am getting error code 8007274C

finaaaaaaally, i got my old gamertag baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack, i just transferred it from the hard drive in my xbox to a flash memory, then i connected the flash memory to another xbox 360, and when i login to my gamertag and select connect to xbox live, it
connected without any problems !! and i saw all my friends and all my messages !!

and when i entered my deleted WLID in hotmail website, it returned as a new WLID !!

and now i can login to my gamertag at any time, and in any website or any service without any problem
