I changed my microsoft account settings but minecraft multiplayer still doesn't work

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I will be responding to you in short period of time and I apologize for a delay in response. As I am merely a user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful.

Are you trying to play multiplayer in Java Edition? Can you please check if multiplayer will work in Bedrock? If it works on one edition but not the other, then that means it's just not recognizing your changed settings.

Try this please:

1. Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

2. Once that is done, please try to logout your account in the Microsoft Store application and then log back in. Make sure you are using the same account in both Minecraft Launcher and Microsoft Store.

You can also do this, go to Settings > Apps > Minecraft Launcher > Advanced options> Reset and Repair. .

After this try to check if multiplayer will still be grayed out.

Second, check your xbox network settings on your windows 11 device. You can do this by opening the xbox app and clicking on the settings icon on the left side of the screen. Then, click on network and look for the NAT type and server connectivity status. Ideally, you want to have an open NAT type and a connected server status. If you see a moderate or strict NAT type, or a blocked or disconnected server status, then you might have some issues with your network configuration.



Third, if your xbox network settings are not optimal, you can try to improve them by following some steps. For example, you can restart your router and modem, use a wired connection instead of wireless, or enable UPnP on your router.
