I changed my hotmail email address for my alias, and now It won't let me get it back as it either says it doesn't exist, or this account already exist.

First it says it exists

Yet when I try to recover it, it says it doesn't

And when I tried to add it as a microsoft account to change it back, it says it is part of a reserved domain

The problem isn't that I've lost the actual email, as I still have that, the problem is I lost the email address I had associated with that email when I changed it, and now it won't let it get it back

That’s really odd.
Sincerely is not possible to tell you what happened or what you exactly did to lost the account

If you’re not able to access to it right now the best option is proceed with the recovery form

If you had a phone number linked with the lost account please try using that instead of the email

Please note that no one here including Microsoft support can send password reset links , share or modify account details due to security policies

Did you not remember creating a similar email address when you added a new alias to your Microsoft account?

If that’s not the case, I can advise you fill the account recovery form, in that way you're going to submit a ticket with Microsoft account recovery team https://account.live.com/acsr

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

Please note that regular no one here including Microsoft Support is capable to send password reset links for security policies

1. I believe it is a microsoft account, it's a hotmail email address.

2. I believe so. It's a different email address that is mine.

It won't let me add as an alias for some reason. I really just want to be able to get the rewards for the xbox on my 2nd account. There is already a gamertag associated with the bing account that I have never used.
