I changed my gamertag and all my purchases in Minecraft are gone

I changed my gamertag from PlinioHUE to JosephHUE, singned off and on in the game and all my purchases are gone.

That's odd because the licenses for our purchases are all linked to our Microsoft account itself.

If I may ask, are you on Xbox or PC?

If your account was permanently deleted then you would have to rebuy everything that was related to the account, I am sorry.

How was your account deleted? There may be a misunderstanding here. If you have not activated a deletion then the account was not deleted.

I have the same problem. All of my Minecraft Marketplace purchases are gone, and the "Recently Viewed" section when browsing Marketplace content is gone as well.

Ive gone through social.xbox and changed my gamertag already but it wasnt changed when i went on my game.

What I mean is there should still be a way to get the game and Gamertag back for no cost. I only play Minecraft, so it isn't as big a deal to lose all the achievements, but there should be a way to keep my Gamertag and the game itself. I want to be able to transfer my Gamertag to a different account. If I delete my Gamertag and change it on my dad's account, then can I set my Gamertag back to what it was originally with no changes to it on my new account?
