I changed my avatar and now it won’t show on my profile at all, how do I fix this?

Update: I restarted the console and logged into the new profile, and all the changes I made are now showing on the new avatar.

However, after logging back into my original profile, and toggling the "Show my avatar" checkbox under Customize Profile from on, to off, to back on again, I'm showing another random avatar.

Similar to this issue, when I signed up for the gold subscription xbox was logged into my daughter's avatar. How do I change the avatar associated with my xbox gold account. Right now when I log in, it shows that I am my daughter, how do I change it so
it shows as me? I don't want sign in as my daughter all the time and I don't want to take over her avatar since she has history saved under her avatar.

I hate this, it does now show any of my recent activity on my profile or my avatar here. Everything on there is almost a year old, and nothing from my xbox one.

I'm assuming you mean in game awards page? I unlocked it via campaign, then when I restarted the game the next day it didn't show as unlocked in game, but it was in my avatar rewards when I actually go to change it on my avatar. I fixed this by playing an
Arcade Campaign chapter. Now it shows.

That's the thing I'm doubt exactly that and my profile shows the gamerpic I want but everywhere else it shows my avatar picture instead. My husband's account shows his gamerpic in all places that's what I want mine to do. I can't get rid of the avatar picture.
