    I changed my age and can no longer play Minecraft online.


    Previously my accounts age was incorrect so I changed it to an age that is still above the age of 18 and now I can no longer play online. All of my privacy settings are still set to allow. I tried changing it again to an older age, uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting, I even added myself to a family to see if I needed parental controls, but nope. I play on xbox so I don't know if its the game, my account, or xbox live that is the problem at this point. But I'm hoping someone might.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If I may ask, do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription? It is also required to play the game. Since you've mentioned that everything is set to "allow" already that may be what is causing the issue.

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

    If you have an active subscription, can I have the exact message that you're getting?

    Oh ok, turns out I no longer have xbox live. Must have been perfect timing or something lol. Just wish it said something about xbox live and not about how my account was set up- I have been confused for the longest time. Thank you so much, honestly 💀💀
