    I never have xbox 360.

    But when i buy xbox one i decide to play in some games eith backward capability. But in this games don't have access to xbox live so i can't use gamer profile in this games.

    I apolodace for my bad english it is not my native language.

    Download profile issue

    I have Xbox one. Never had Xbox 360 previously. Downloaded Curse of monkey island SE with backward compatibilty. The game stats but can't download my profile. although I am logged in my Xbox one profile. If I play game any way then I can't save my progress.
    Tried almost every thing but nothing helps.

    What to do?

    I bought one game in the Microsoft Store on this account over 2 weeks ago but it was for Xbox One. Should I buy the game for xbox 360 with backward capability in Microsoft Store?

    Hey there AskewWave411128.

    If you're using an Xbox Live profile you created on your Xbox One, you just need to press the View and Menu button while in the Xbox 360 game and select "Download Profile" where you can re-enter your Xbox Live information.

    If you're using an Xbox Live profile you created on your Xbox One, you just need to press the View and Menu button while in the Xbox 360 game and select "Download Profile" where you can re-enter your Xbox Live information.

    I have this same problem. Two people have suggested switching gamer profiles somehow fixes it, but I only have one gamer profile with xbox live capabilities, so I can't attest to whether or not it works.

    Hello, my xbox live profile is called "RinsableMLG" and today for some reason, I can't play xbox 360 backwards compatible games be ause my profile won't download on the xbox 360 servers. I can play xbox one games, but I can't play my xbox 360 games
    and my profile won't download and it states "There's a problem with your credentials, blah blah blah". If I use my other two accounts, I can play on the xbox 360 games but not my RinsableMLG one. I seriosuly don't know what to do and I'm panicking right now.
    I have the exact same problem. I was just trying to play saints row but couldn't connect to xbox live on backwards compatibility. So I deleted my account and now I can't download on backwards compatibility with the same error message as you.

    No it doesn't and you can't take profile pictures with it, it's also not backward compatible with games that used the XBOX LIVE vision camera to create in game character faces.

    so to keep my games on profile, i would have to create a gamer profile the same as the one i was playing on before i got to xbox live so i can save my games on???

    i cannot just move the profile to a new gamer name.....
