I can't use my ea account because my email is linked to an old account

Is your Xbox profile linked to an old EA that you no longer have access to? If yes, you may need to check options with EA because when it comes to unlinking an account it will be on EA's end.

Hi I kinda have the same problem. On my PS5 I have a old Microsoft account linked to my Minecraft and no longer have access to the old Microsoft account and just need it unlinked so I can put my new Microsoft account on it so I can play cross platform

Once a Microsoft account is linked to a Playstation account, Sony does not allow you to link to any other accounts. You can only ever link to the original account. These are Sony's policies. You would have to contact them to get them to change their policy.
