    I can't use my 360 Pad Wireless Dongle since the latest Update. Can someone help me?


    Each time there is an update, the Xbox 360 Pad Wireless Receiver is not supported. I love my old pad, and the dongle is fairly new. I just want to be supported, or to be informed if my device is no longer supported and I need to throw away this fantastic reliable controller for no other reason other than it is no longer supported. Thanks. I think given the fact that it's been 10 years since it was released, we might as well just include a relevent W7 drive for DL which works on 10 & 11. And don't cut out the non-gen dongles for those who can't get the original ones. They cost pennies to make, you must have made a massive %age on those.

    So, looking into this issue you described, I discovered a similar thread from 2020:

    Official Microsoft made Xbox 360 adapters will continue to work on Windows today no matter what build you are using. If you are experiencing issues with the adapter, then that unfortunately means it is not an official Microsoft made product or that it is defective.

    Some adapters are made to look identical to the official Microsoft product but are not official unfortunately. I would contact the retailer where you purchased the adapter to inquire about potential resolutions or return options.

    I can't offer a support solution for this at this time and will leave the thread open to the community if anyone else can help. Or I would recommend referencing to the previous mentioned thread for possible solutions.

    This is a common problem with wireless controllers

    Please make sure you always install the latest firmware

    I also had disconnection issues with my controller but I've managed to sort out mine. Cellphones are a major culprit with wireless interference. Since I no longer have my cellphone close to my controller, I no longer have disconnection issues.

    Another culprit is third party wireless headsets. Some of them have wireless dongles which also causes disconnection issues.

    Also, since the last/latest firmware update for my controller, the connectivity is much more stable. Below is a guide on how to update the firmware:

    I'll give the USB cable a try to see if it is interference.

    With the latest 360 update you can use an External up to 2TB.

    Sorry but can't help you with which models are compatible, I'd be interested to know though so hopefully someone can help with that info :)

    Hello THX. I think i can only connect a device if it uses dongle, at least it's always been that way for me.

    What I can do now on another PC with the latest update of the controller is sync the controller to the PC and Xbox and switch by double-clicking the pairing button.

    However try to see if in the dongle specifications using it allows more than one connection
