    I can't update Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Windows 10!


    Hi,

    I was playing Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 10 with my friends when I was kicked from the realm because my client was outdated. I have looked all over, I have done everything that I could possibly think of, but there is no update for me. What's going on?

    The specific error message I am getting is "Could not connect: Outdated client! Realms Has Updated". My Minecraft Bedrock Edition version is 1.20.41.

    Here is a list of everything I have tried:

    - Clicking the "Go To Store" button in Minecraft Bedrock edition (which for some reason brings me to the starter pack of Bedrock Edition, not the actual game itself.)

    - Checking every version of Minecraft on the Microsoft Store for an update

    - Going to the "My Library" section and pressing the "Get Updates" (multiple times!)

    - Installing all updates on my other apps

    - Installing the Xbox app (but it is quite literally frowning at me)

    - Restarting Minecraft Bedrock Edition

    - Restarting Xbox App

    - Restarting Microsoft Store

    - Restarting my PC

    - Checking Minecraft Launcher itself for updates

    - Made sure Windows 10 is up to date
    - Uninstalling and reinstalling Gaming Services via Windows Powershell

    The only thing I haven't tried yet is deleting and reinstalling Minecraft Bedrock, but I really would not like to do that. All of my friends, who play on iOS and Nintendo Switch, were able to update their games easily.

    Please help!

    If you search Minecraft page on Microsoft Store you can't simply donwload it because you already own the game? As I know, the Bedrock edition is available as an update for the Windows 10 version.

    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is not updating to new versions on my PC.

    Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
    When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

    P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.

    Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread.

    Bedrock is the version that is on consoles and mobile devices. So, yes, if you updated your console version you have the Bedrock version that is simple titled "Minecraft". Minecraft Windows 10 Edition is the only exception to this. Minecraft Windows
    10 Edition also uses the Bedrock engine. If you have something such as "Minecraft Xbox One Edition", this is not the up-to-date version.

    On PC [Bedrock and Java] you do not need to have a Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online.

    I hope this was able to clear up any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    Java is the original release of Minecraft. Xbox One Edition will no longer be updated seeing as they released the Bedrock version for Xbox and Windows 10 and other platforms.
