I'm assuming when you typed mb/s you meant Mb/s.

Of course your game will lag when streaming if your uploads speeds are adequate enough. From what I am reading you need at least a 2 MB/s upload speed and your lucky to get a good 720P stream even with that speed.

This is nonsense. I play on dsl that is only 1.5 mb dl and .3 mb upload and I can play BF3 fine. There are latency issues but no lag spikes or packet loss. Their lowest package is 10 mb dl 1 mb upload for 50 bux but the trouble is that it only has a 20 gb
per month download.

If I can do it on DSL, the lowest package at $50 dollars a month is fine. If you stream movies, though, you may be unsatisfied with 20 gb cap on data.

I dont have problems with my network speed it is the frame dropping that is the main problem. I get 200 mbs where my xbox is

Is the 200 mbps upload speed? The upload speed is the important number for streaming as you as sending the data outwards. If it is slow that could cause lag.

Yes, my internet speed is 300 MB/s download and 300 MB/s upload. I have ran multiple speed tests and all report speeds of 310-325 MB/s, on both upload and download.



I know this is not the "fastest" internet available, but I believe I should be able to stream at 1080p.... as you stated you do with only 8 MB/s upload. I have had multiple people in my streams complaining about the video quality, so I checked my previous
broadcasts. Awful! 720p and 30 FPS looks absolutely horrible.

Yes, I am aware Clips and Mixer are two different things. I only mentioned "clips" that in my original post as I was quoting the description and specs provided by Microsoft/Xbox itself.



I understand your opinion on lower quality being better for viewers with poor connection or data caps. But this is why there is an option/setting in the streams for 1080p/720p/480p/320p. My stream does not provide multiple options, simply 720p... which is
what the issue is.

I know the optimal setup would be including PC and capture card, among many other things. But as I mentioned in my OP, I have only very recently started streaming(couple weeks), just to try it out. I am not yet at the stage where I am ready to commit larger
investments.

For now I just wish to stream 1080p at 60FPS, since my internet speeds and Microsoft claims I am able to with my Xbox One X.
