i can't summon my friend

hi me and me friend are doing coop and every thing was ok until we got to the shaded woods he could summon me but i can't summon him my soul memory 1095000 and his is 1065000 i don't know what to do please help

Summon issues in Undead Asylum

So, I see that people can either summon or be summoned in the Undead Asylum for the Stray deamon boss, and it doesn't work for me, I can't be summoned, and I can't summon anyone while Human. Anyone know what my issue is? More than likely it's something stupid..

Has anyone noticed "Join session in progress"

You can't be in party chat. You also have to be within a range of levels from one another. The summoner must be human and not have killed the boss.

If you can give me more detail, I may be able to help you figure it out. Where are you trying this? What level are you and what level is the person you're trying to summon? Have you killed the boss (or has your friend if they are summoning you)? Is the
summoner human? Are you seeing other summon signs, but just not your friend's sign?

So, summoning friends in Dark Souls 2 is related to your soul levels, not the number of souls you guys have. If your soul levels are fine,

double check that you each have open NATs because incompatible NAT could prevent you from joining each other. If that all looks correct and you still run into issues, you'll want to reach out to

FromSoftware for further support with the game itself.

The difficulty to play with friends is one of the negative sides in the game. I don't mind summoning randies and now I rarely summon anyone else other than an NPC to act as a bait, but I'd love to help my friend who just isn't that good at this game :/

Hey guys I have a huge problem with getting summoned, my friend sees my marker but almost every time it says "summoning failed"

I tried forwarding my ports and stuff but it doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

Spent three hours trying to get summoning working with my brother... still can't see any summon stones on my character (but for some reason I can start a new character, bullrush into undead burg and I see summon stones right away, it's like this patching
bullcrap has somehow *** my game save over). Veeeery frustrating.
