I can't speak in party chat

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your party chat. There are a few possible reasons why you might not be able to speak in party chat on your account, even if you have no active bans or suspensions. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

- Check your network settings and make sure you have a NAT type of Open or Moderate. If you have a Strict NAT type, you might have problems connecting to other players in party chat. Once you switch to game chat, everyone in the party will be muted as you will be able to speak and listen to everyone in the game's lobby. Once you go back from game chat to party chat you will be able to speak with your party again

For the people moaning about party chart even before party chat xbox already had private chat. I would rather be in private or party chat talking to people i know than listening to randomers there is nothing wrong with party chat. i think its a good feature.
i think there are alot of people that would rather speak on the head set if it is friends or fam they are speaking to..

I can't hear anybody through my TB XO One headset, but they can hear me. Game chat is fine, but in party chat it doesn't work. It shows me speaking when I speak, and my friends tell me they can hear me, and if I unplug the headset, I can hear people speaking
through the TV speakers.

The fact that game chat still works proves that it's Microsoft's software, not my headset, adapter, Xbox or controller.
