I can't sign up for Xbox Live on my Xbox 360? Why?

Is there a reason why I can't sign in to my account and Connect t Connect to Xbox live on Xbox 360?

Can't understand why I can't login to live on my xbo, my xbox 360 can!! But I haven't got cod aw for my 360 ffs!!!!! And also why can my freinds sign in on xbo and I cant?) they only live about 2 minutes away from me!!!!!

Can you tell us what steps have you tried so far when trying to register your account on your 360 console? Also, if you are trying to add a new account to the console make sure your account doesn't have 2 step verification on as 360 doesn't support it. Make sure your account password is also less than 16 characters as Xbox 360 only accepts less than 16 characters.

In addition to that, I suggest to try signing in the account you are trying to use on your 360 console first via https://account.xbox.com/profile page this is to confirm the gamertag you are using is correct.

If all else are good, you may try the following steps below to further troubleshoot this issue:

Turn off your Xbox 360 and then turn it on again.

Press the "Panel" button on your controller.

Go to "Settings" and select "System Settings".

Select "Storage".

Highlight a storage device and press Y on the controller to access "Device Options". NOTE: It does not matter which storage device you select. This procedure will clear all storage devices from the cache.

On the “Device Options” screen, select “Clear System Cache”.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

After clearing the system cache, you will return to the "Storage Devices" screen.

Press the "Dashboard" button on the controller to return to Xbox Home.

Hold LB + RB when starting the game.

Note: This will also reset your brightness and language settings.

Why would I do that? My Xbox 360 can't sign into Live either. The issue isn't related to the games... Microsoft's servers aren't working and we all know it.

I can't sign in to Xbox live on 360.

I can sign in on my Xbox One, but if I choose 360 games on my Xbox one it says the same. But Xbox One games works fine?
