What message do you receive when trying to change the account email address?

And on what page are you trying to change it? Were you able to recover and sign in again to the account?

I'm having as issue with this as well. My Xbox email was hacked, not my live account just the email associated with it so I can't verify my email because I can't get into it and I can't add any aliases. What do I do!?

They must have added that email to the account and deleted my original email because whenever I attempt to sign into my old account with my original email, I get the notice that an account with that email does not exist.

I don't think my account was hacked because it was last active on the day I last played Minecraft. I didn't mention this in my original message, but before I lost my account, I was receiving some notifications in the launcher (I don't remember what they were saying) that I ignored, and I think it's because of that

And is there any way to check if my account was deleted or to directly message someone who could change my account's email?

I only had the one email I ever used for it. Also, I still get email for my original account to my standard email address. In fact, shortly after posting the original post, I received an email from microsoft reminding me I hadn't registered my console for
the preview program (which I can't do obviously, because I can't log in). I did contact phone support the day it happened, when I thought perhaps my account had been hacked. I'll probably call them in a week if I haven't heard back to give them this further
information about still receiving emails for the account, but I can't do that right now, because my cell phone minutes are low.
