I can't sign in to Xbox Live. Therefore I can't download my profile

Same here! I keep posting all over the forums, here and elsewhere on Microsoft's platforms, and haven't gotten a response. All the things members of the community have said worked for them haven't worked for me. I keep getting the same message saying that
my Xbox can't connect to Xbox Live.



Which then opens the network setting for the Xbox One and it says I'm connected to Xbox Live. I'm at a complete loss as to why this is happening... Luckily I'm not the only one having this issue and I hope Microsoft is working on a fix for this!!!

I just bought an external 4TB drive and am going to move all my games to it and do a factory reset of my Xbox. People on Reddit have said this is the only fix that works. Its b.s. that this problem has been known since backwards compatibility was released
and there hasn't been any word from MS about how to fix it without factory reset. Hey at least I'll be able to play Halo again...

I've been experiencing this error for going on a year now. Not sure what they are doing about it. They frequently say to clear the local 360 storage, but that hasn't done anything for me yet.

...which will tell you what services are currently working. It's possible your connection to LIVE was good but the particular server you needed was down.
