    I can’t see my friend in my friends list, and I can’t join them in external servers.


    Hi, I’ve been trying to play with my friend in external servers, but I can’t seem to find them.

    They do not show on my friends list, but when i try to search for their game tag, they appear to be online.

    When i try to search them in external servers, they appear offline. When we are literally beside each other in the same external server, but can’t join each ofher.

    We’re friends in both xbox and minecraft



    I followed and checked everything but still doesn’t work.

    - Are you and your friends playing on the same version of Minecraft? There are different editions of the game, such as Bedrock and Java, that are not compatible with each other.

    Yes we are, both v1.21.60

    - Are you and your friends connected to the same network or online service? For example, if you are playing on Nintendo Switch, you need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play online with other Switch users.

    I’m on my ipad and they’re using iphone, same network, same wifi.

    - Have you checked your privacy and online safety settings on your Microsoft account? You may need to adjust them to allow multiplayer and cross-platform play.

    Yes, I tried. It says allow everyone and everyone on the internet. But i cant find the multiplayer cross platform play.

    - Have you tried restarting your game, console, and router? Sometimes a simple reboot can fix connection issues.

    I’m sure that our wifi is fine. I tried restarting it as well.

    Please help.

    "Join Game" Grayed out

    Hi there sorry for such a delayed response. Unfortunately neither of those fixed my issue. I still see “join game” grayed out with my friends and can’t joint them but they can join me.

    Whenever I move my left stick in the home screen it moves extremely fast and goes all over the place, and moves to the bottom of the category that I am in.

    I can’t even invite/join my friends’ parties because I can’t get to the commands that let me do so.
