I can't save my controller settings in fifa 23 in xbox one.

But before that please tell me:

If you try to change the controller settings in a different game, are you able to save them?

Is this the first time that you try to do this in FIFA 23 or you were able to do it before?

Did you tried some troubleshooting steps in your console?

In the meantime please try to perform a physical power cycle disconnecting the power cable

"Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.



Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on."

Based on the description that you are unable to save the settings with your controller using the second account. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured that we are going to provide enough information on how to resolve your concern in a timely manner.

If you are linking your profile to your controller, you can automatically sign in as soon as you turn on that controller and only one person can link their profile to a controller at a time, so make sure you link a controller that only you use. If you are already linking your first account to that controller, then linking it with another account will not be possible. You can use another controller to link your second account.

To link a controller:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  
• Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & PIN.
  
• Select This controller signs in, and then choose Link controller to link the controller you’re using.
  

Assigning an account to your controller:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  
• Select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories.
  
• Select the controller, and then the More options icon (…). Assigned to shows the current account assigned to that controller.
  
• To assign the controller to another account, select Assigned to, and then select the account that you want assigned to the controller. This will pair the controller to this account.

I read the solution offered, followed the instructions but it didn't fix the problem for me, I have two controllers, one signs in an account and the other signs in another account. When I try to play a game with my friend, I can only only change control setting to alternate Alternate and Classic on the other, or Alternate and Alternate, when I try to change one to Custom A or Customer B based on my setting, it changes both controllers to the same setting, I try signing in on the two different accounts to try this, on the second account it doesn't even save the controller settings for the second controller, I wonder if there is a way to fix this? We understand that you’re having trouble with the controller settings in FIFA 23. As per description, when changing controller settings to play the game, the settings did not save.

It seems that this is a common issue that many players are experiencing. We found some solutions that might help you fix the problem.

Firstly, you can try configuring the controller on Steam for FIFA 23. Follow the steps to do it:

1. Open Steam and go to Library.
   
2. Right-click on FIFA 23 and select Properties.
   
3. Click on Set Launch Options.
   
4. Type -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -useforcedmparms -useforcedmpaccel in the text box.
   
5. Click OK.
   

Secondly, make sure that there are no other additional controllers connected to your PC.

Thirdly, connect your controller with a USB cable.

Fourth, assign a different account to each controller.

Disconnect your controller and check if there are controllers detected in "Set Up USB Game Controllers".

Right-click on the "FIFA 23" game and open the "Properties" menu. Click on "Controller" and click on "Disable Steam Input". If "Disable Steam Login" is checked, save it as "Enable Steam Login" and check if the problem persists.
