I can’t remove my credit card from my Xbox 1S

Hi, My son has been using my credit card to get xbox live gold and has recently spent some money he shouldnt have so ive canceled the xbox live payments and am currently having troubles removing the card from the xbox, i have been having an unknown error
with a link to a website but when i try to go to the website it doesnt exist. Ive been doing some research and cant find a way to fix it, there are noothee memberships and the obly tjing stopping me os this unknown error.

I would like this fixed soon as i dont want my son spending anymore money but im letting him finish the last of the months xbox live that i payed for before it ends on the 9th

Auto Renewal Question

If I remove my credit card from my console by going onto Manage Payment Options through my console then remove credit card, will this stop auto renewal?

 

Credit Card Troubles

So basically, I had insufficient funds in my credit card. I was aware of this, so I'm fairly certain I removed my credit card from my account. However, am currently suspended due to Xbox trying to take money from my card, bless. Well, I tried to go to my
account, remove the credit card and add my prepaid card, so I could pay off the time I've already had, as well as being able to play Reach online again.

But, everytime I try to go to Manage Account and remove my card, it doesn't let me. Why?

All I want to do is remove my credit card and just use prepaid cards. Why can't I do this?

 

• Go to My Account at Xbox.com

• Sign into your account

• On the upper right side of the page, click on your gamertag. You will be taken to account.microsoft.com

• Click Manage and then Choose how you pay

get on hes consol. go to system settings. go to billing and click remove card. i think its under profile or billing. its easy to do it that way.

 

Credit cards cannot be removed while they are attached to an active gold subscription. You would either have to wait for his subscription to end and then remove it, or contact support and have them cancel what is remaining.

 

You need to add a new card before it’ll let you remove a card. You always need a card in file.
