    I can't remove Bleeding Edge Beta from my PC Game Pass, can someone help me?


    Hi I'm experience a rather odd problem since I instaled the Beta from Bleeding, a few days later as the beta was closed I tried to uninstall the Beta, and I did, the problem is that the B.E. icon on the app was still there as if the game was still installed,
    so I try to removing it without succes by: Looking if there was a file somewhere in the files of installation (having to change ownership to gain access), searching though my installed programs, to see if something of that remaind, and uninstalling the whole
    G.P. (Beta) app from windows, but it still came back, so I'm out of options, it came to my mind to check somewhere on the registry but that would be a lot of time, can someone help me get rid of the damn icon?

    Ps. the uninstall option doesn't work

    Hi Christyna, if I right click the app I only get the usual options open/ipen as admin/etc, I don't seem to have the "more" option, and if i get into the settings of the app (from inside the app itself) nothing gets me to an option like repair the app :(

    You can try resetting the Xbox beta app by right clicking on the app, select more, then app settings. Here you can reset and repair the app. Sometimes files are left over when uninstalling a game.

    Your next option would be to uninstall the Xbox beta app, games too, and this should remove any left over files from the Xbox beta app. These files are stored in a folder with restricted permissions, so any left over files can't be deleted manually. I
    know this is not ideal, but if there are left over files creating issues then this would be a way to remove them.

    Are you using an Admin account on your PC? You can also go to Settings>Apps>Scroll down to Xbox beta>Click Advanced Options.

    I can download the game without a problem, the issue is that if I download the game I have the icon from the game and the icon from the beta, as if it still was installed on my pc, but it's not, and nothing I do will get rid of the damn icon :(
